She has extensive knowledge in musculoskeletal injuries, ranging from injuries in sport, dance, fitness and general life activities. She uses her clinical expertise combined with evidence-based treatment to provide the highest quality care for her clients. This care involves her strong movement analysis background, manual therapy, individualized exercise programming, and client education to give her clients the best rehabilitation possible.
Dr. Rucker has a keen eye for movement and is able to use this for injury rehabilitation, sports performance, and strength and conditioning work. She has studied extensively in Pilates and movement control. This strong movement background has transferred into an ability to analyze numerous body movements, whether they be in sport, fitness, weight lifting, or everyday life activities.
In 2018, Dr. Rucker was awarded her Board Certification in Orthopaedics by the American Physical Therapy Association.

- Certified STOTT Pilates Rehabilitation Instructor

Dr. Rucker received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Willamette University in 1997 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2002.
In her free time, Dr. Rucker enjoys spending time with her three daughters, husband, extended family, and friends. She also loves fitness and many other activities including: skiing, Pilates, Yoga, weight lifting, running, and golf. Raised in Tacoma, she is an alum of Stadium High School and the University of Puget Sound Physical Therapy Graduate School.
